Oh my god it's a giant raspberry!

Interesting title, but first WILL THE COMEDIAN DOING THE RAINDANCE PLEASE STOP!!! As you can see the weather continues to be dramatically awful. Click on the pic or the link to experience more...play movie
The morning was pleasant enough, but as usual, that's the busy time. Then the clients left and the skies darkened (cue dramatic music?) Stuart, the farrier arrived, although I'm sure there was no connection.
His comment on our new jods was 'oh my God it's a giant raspberry'... Flattery never was his strong point.
We are prepared to forgive him though because a) both horses are now fully shod, and b) he's given us a very generous donation. Having now got two fully shod horses we were hoping for a hack at last. No such luck. Mega thunderstorm arrived, the skies lit up and the windows shook! We opted for a schooling session in the end, although the power kept cutting out and leaving us in the dark. Lightning strike in the field next to the yard! Pads was deeply unimpressed by the whole thing. Rash seemed unbothered, although he kept knocking the cones over as if they weren't there. Anyway, weather notwithstanding, we can now concentrate on the horses, thanks to Sue :-)
